I’m Maria and I portray families in the comfort of their homes. I want to tell your story, whether that be documenting your pregnancy, celebrating your newborn or by simply freezing a moment in time of your family life. I truly believe that photographs are one of the biggest treasures and the best gift we can give to ourselves and our children. Just think of all the emotions you go through when looking at your own childhood photographs. I know that when I look at them, I feel warm, excited and grateful. The photos that mean the most to me are definitely the ones with my parents and siblings in them. But there aren’t many pictures of all of us in the frame. Someone obviously had to take the picture and let’s be honest in most cases this is mum! This is exactly where I come in. Let’s capture your family memories together to make sure you have pictures with all of you in the frame to cherish for many years to come!

Relax and have fun
Think of the photoshoot as a fun time to spend with your family. It’s a time where you will just focus on each other, no distractions like phones, work, household chores. It’s a time to have fun with your loved ones, adore your baby and each other. Put on your favourite playlist, make yourselves feel good. I adore working with children, and love everything that comes with it. The smiles, little negotiations, dealing with tantrums but also the over excitement. Please rest assured, whichever way your little one is feeling that day, we will make it work!
While I come equipped with ideas on “poses” to try, activities to do, this is very much led by you and how you want your family to be captured. During a typical session, I get photos of all of you together, as well as single portraits of kids and photos with the children and each parent individually.
